A-Kon 24

Volunteered on staff to come back to A-Kon after missing last year.  It was held at the Hilton-Anatole in Dallas.  Foreign art works abounded along with a large open area for jogging, three swimming pools and a fancy chandelier.
I was kept quite busy with my volunteer duties.  Much due to spotty cell phone service, thus I had to deliver many messages in person rather than making a quick call or text.  All in all, still a fulfilling weekend, having got to see some people I don't often get to and having a part contributing to this event that so many have fun at.  It's great to see the attendees enjoying themselves. :)

Jogging area early Friday

Jogging area Sunday afternoon

Artist Alley
Dealer Room (which many may have missed)
Adventure Time

Mass Effect 3
Very nice Atrium II area has moving chandelier, reflecting pools and many trees to freshen the air.  Quite lovely.

The music wasn't great (ok, many agreed it was just plain bad so I'm just being nice), but Mr. Pepperment came all the way from Candy Kingdom and wasn't going to let that get in the way of having a good time.
