What on Earth is Happening episode 143 - POWERFUL

Mark Passio's whatonearthishappening.com has been a source of great knowledge and very influential in my recent development.  Episode 143 clocks in at over 8 hours and features 134 slides.  Government, authority, sovereignty, religion, and popular new age teachings are the topics of this vitriolic, hard hitting presentation on what leads many into working against their own best interests.

There are only two mistakes that one can really make on the path to truth: 1. Not starting.  2. Not going all the way.

A-Kon 24

Volunteered on staff to come back to A-Kon after missing last year.  It was held at the Hilton-Anatole in Dallas.  Foreign art works abounded along with a large open area for jogging, three swimming pools and a fancy chandelier.
I was kept quite busy with my volunteer duties.  Much due to spotty cell phone service, thus I had to deliver many messages in person rather than making a quick call or text.  All in all, still a fulfilling weekend, having got to see some people I don't often get to and having a part contributing to this event that so many have fun at.  It's great to see the attendees enjoying themselves. :)

Jogging area early Friday

Jogging area Sunday afternoon

Artist Alley
Dealer Room (which many may have missed)
Adventure Time

Mass Effect 3
Very nice Atrium II area has moving chandelier, reflecting pools and many trees to freshen the air.  Quite lovely.

The music wasn't great (ok, many agreed it was just plain bad so I'm just being nice), but Mr. Pepperment came all the way from Candy Kingdom and wasn't going to let that get in the way of having a good time.

Marched Against Monsanto

Attended the March Against Monsanto in my city as part of a worldwide event.  A good turnout developed, leading our group to divide into several segments as we were separated by traffic lights while making our way around downtown.

All went smoothly with no ill intent by any participants or observers, from what I witnessed.  I'm sure we had some effect on raising awareness in those venturing downtown to enjoy the sights and activities.

Movie Theater Experience

I rarely make it to the movie theaters, anymore, but when I do, it's usually because I want the big screen, stadium seating, thunderous sound experience.

That said, I really do wish they offered non-GMO popcorn without that stuff they put all over it.  There's a bagged brand of popcorn we've been getting called Angie's.  Very simple ingredient list, non-GMO, tastes great!  I like to pour some nutritional yeast over it. (Actually, I try to stay away from popcorn, being a raw vegan, but when I do...)

It would be great if the theaters offered this quality of snack foods.

I may just have to build my own theater.

Let it be known

We, being the divine entity of mind, body and spirit known as Elliot David Manning, declare openly...

Many if not all of the governing organizations of today are actually private organizations.  As such they do not hold our best interests.  Having never given active conscious consent to being governed by these organizations, let it be known we do not give consent to be governed by these organizations.  We apologize for the mistake of fact.  Any action on our part that participates or utilizes the systems of the above organizations is by necessity and/or duress due to the many peoples who operate by standards with or without knowledge of their implications.

These private governing organizations arbitrarily mandate laws, statutes, etc. that run contrary to universal and natural law.  It may be argued they remain congruent with universal law by consent of those they govern, down playing the massive propaganda and programming operations designed to condition the peoples into the vulnerable state by which they readily bow to these organizations.

In any case, we act according to the divine universal law(s), "Do as you wish, but do not infringe upon the natural rights of others."  It may be known to others by similar words or sentiment.

This declaration is written to speak to hearts and thus is to be taken first in spirit, before form.  Our use of the plural "we" and "our" is in respect of our mind, body and spirit speaking in unity.

We are not an attorney or a member of any bar.

Peace be to all seeking to live in righteousness.  May those exercising self-hatred and self-opposition find true healing.

The Strength of Your Love, Your Thoughts and Your Actions

Some words I gave a friend, today...

You control your thoughts, feelings and actions.  With simple deep breathing, taking pause to calm yourself, you can choose how to view a certain situation.  If you do not exercise your dominion over your body you leave reactionary emotions, thoughts and actions by your ego to wreak havoc on you.

You are strong enough to come this far...it all came from within you, and you will continue to reach from that powerful well of strength and love within you to press on forward. you will gain momentum as you apply yourself and your knowledge.  The outside world and everyone else around you will be of less influence as you stand firmly in your principles, your values, your love and strength.  For though it is possible for others to exert their own will upon your in violation of your own rights, at times, you can create safe ground in your thought, your emotions and press back outward, in time, your actions manipulating the world, your world, to your will, to your wishes.

The world will crumble around you and you will merely see it, knowing that just as you build your world, others have the right to build their own, even if it is to their destruction.

But you must not see your destiny in this end, you have come further than many, and there is yet further to go.

Take comfort in your strength, your love and act.

BBC Two - Why Beauty Matters

"Philosopher Roger Scruton presents a provocative essay on the importance of beauty in the arts and in our lives.

In the 20th century, Scruton argues, art, architecture and music turned their backs on beauty, making a cult of ugliness and leading us into a spiritual desert.

Using the thoughts of philosophers from Plato to Kant, and by talking to artists Michael Craig-Martin and Alexander Stoddart, Scruton analyses where art went wrong and presents his own impassioned case for restoring beauty to its traditional position at the centre of our civilisation.

Part of the BBC2 Modern Beauty Season."

This was a joy to watch and features some compelling thoughts and imagery!  The most jolting quote comes from an interview with a classical sculptor regarding modern art as "an attempt to obliterate knowledge."

The video used to be on YouTube, but has been removed.  If you can find the opportunity to do so, watch it!

Genius glasses

In an episode of Adventure Time, Finn puts on glasses that turn him into a genius.  After his satori, he exclaims, "Everything small is just a small version of something big!  I understand EVERYTHING!"

The hermetic principle visualized is Planes of Correspondence, "As above, so below." - The Kybalion

The image below contains an opening image of a simulation approximating the structure of the universe as developed by The Millennium Simulation.
The Millennium Run used more than 10 billion particles to trace the evolution of the matter distribution in a cubic region of the Universe over 2 billion light-years on a side. It kept busy the principal supercomputer at the Max Planck Society's Supercomputing Centre in Garching, Germany for more than a month. By applying sophisticated modelling techniques to the 25 Tbytes of stored output, Virgo scientists have been able to recreate evolutionary histories both for the 20 million or so galaxies which populate this enormous volume and for the supermassive black holes which occasionally power quasars at their hearts. By comparing such simulated data to large observational surveys, one can clarify the physical processes underlying the buildup of real galaxies and black holes.
Following, the images scale down to smaller objects until a representation of neurons is displayed.
  I wish I had those glasses! >.>

Logical fallacies

Here's something all should be familiar with from a very young age.  Follow the linked title for a full article.  Know when the wrong strings are being pulled and the wrong tactics are being played to divide you from accurate conclusions with an illusion of one.

Description of Fallacies

In order to understand what a fallacy is, one must understand what an argument is. Very briefly, an argument consists of one or more premises and one conclusion. A premise is a statement (a sentence that is either true or false) that is offered in support of the claim being made, which is the conclusion (which is also a sentence that is either true or false).
There are two main types of arguments: deductive and inductive. A deductive argument is an argument such that the premises provide (or appear to provide) complete support for the conclusion. An inductive argument is an argument such that the premises provide (or appear to provide) some degree of support (but less than complete support) for the conclusion. If the premises actually provide the required degree of support for the conclusion, then the argument is a good one. A good deductive argument is known as a valid argument and is such that if all its premises are true, then its conclusion must be true. If all the argument is valid and actually has all true premises, then it is known as a sound argument. If it is invalid or has one or more false premises, it will be unsound. A good inductive argument is known as a strong (or "cogent") inductive argument. It is such that if the premises are true, the conclusion is likely to be true.
A fallacy is, very generally, an error in reasoning. This differs from a factual error, which is simply being wrong about the facts. To be more specific, a fallacy is an "argument" in which the premises given for the conclusion do not provide the needed degree of support. A deductive fallacy is a deductive argument that is invalid (it is such that it could have all true premises and still have a false conclusion). An inductive fallacy is less formal than a deductive fallacy. They are simply "arguments" which appear to be inductive arguments, but the premises do not provided enough support for the conclusion. In such cases, even if the premises were true, the conclusion would not be more likely to be true.

Let us create this blog in our image.

What's next?  Where do we go?

  Create.

And yet, "Good artists copy, while great artists steal." - slaithe
And, "There is nothing new under the sun." - also slaithe

In general, I view copyright and patent laws as a means of constricting the flow of consciousness for creating manufactured lack benefiting the few whereas the many suffer.  That very attitude means our people, the men and women of earth, produce much needless suffering that hinders all of us as a whole, in progress.  Whatever is truly beneficial often propagates abundantly as it is abundantly useful.

In any case while I can't make claims of wholly original content, this venue will be a great means of sharing.  It is by such sharing by others I have prospered to this point and it is only fitting as I happily do so, in turn.

  I love the internet!

So now what?

So now I'm a raw vegan.  Health had me go raw. Intrepidity had me go vegetarian.  Spirituality had me go vegan.

So I've yet to get in the state of flow for manifesting my material needs for self sustenance.  Granted, my upbringing and subscription to the rearing thereof had my vision and goals beyond this time, for a paradigm I later learned to be more illusion based on exoteric teachings.  My relationship status, included.  In short, very careful, I've been!

At the same time it's saved me a lot of heartache, positioning myself on the "sidelines" as it were, objectively observing the outcome many others garnered and at least avoiding those ends I found undesirable.

So I am thankful to those who have produced their energies that brought me to this point.   Those of consciousness who have shown me great patience and guidance.  Those of spirituality who pursue in their way forging against the unreceptive masses knowing there are relatively few but worthy ones who are searching for their wisdom and benevolent acts.

So as I sit in my relative without I am grateful for what I am with.  Where do I want to go, from here?
